Ohio University’s Vice President of Student Affairs says the party school ranking devalues the degrees students earn here.

OU has been named the number one party school by the Princeton Review.

Kent Smith tweeted about the ranking this afternoon.

He said “I feel that it is certainly a bad thing as it devalues the very degree that students are working to earn.”

However, many Ohio University students are tweeting positively about the news, celebrating the fact that their school is ranked number one.

The University of Georgia was number two in the party school rankings, followed by the University of Mississippi at number three, the University of Iowa at number four and the University of California Santa Barbara at number five.

Last year, OU was number two in the student survey.
