Malta man killed when thrown from vehicle

One person is dead after a car crash in Muskingum County.
The Highway Patrol says Ricky Kirby, 60, of Malta was killed when he was thrown from the car as it went off the highway and overturned.
It happened early Sunday morning on State Route 60.
The driver was John Jones, 63, of Zanesville, who received "moderate" injuries.
