Athens Police are still searching for the man who robbed a Richland Avenue bank yesterday afternoon.

They released a picture of the man taken by a security camera in the bank.

Captain Ralph Harvey says the man is described as white, with a light complexion.

He's also clean shaven, age 20 to 30 and was wearing a black baseball cap.

The robber also had on a heavy flannel shirt with green in the design over a white shirt and jeans.

He robbed the WestBanco Bank at 12:44 pm and was last seen fleeing the area on foot.

A robbery note indicated he had a gun but no one actually saw a weapon.

Yesterday, police searched the old Morrison Elementary School, which is now an office building, after someone thought they saw the suspect go inside. But, they did not find him.
