Man Shot To Death In Zanesville

Zanesville police are looking for a man they believe was involved in a fatal drive by shooting Saturday night.

Police say Dante Wolford, 22, of Zanesville was standing on a corner when he was gunned down.

It happened at the intersection of Pine Street and Baker Street in the parking lot of the Dairy Mart Store.

Investigators say Joey Hampton, 21, is their prime suspect.

Hampton is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 185 pounds.

He has longer hair with serveral tatoos.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest with a charge of aggravated murder with a gun specification.

Anyone with information on Hampton's whereabouts is asked to call the Zanesville Police Department at 740-455-0700.
