The mother and step-father of two boys who drowned in the Muskingum River in June have been arrested and charged in connection with their deaths.
Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox say Richard Klein Jr., 38, and Kasey L. Klein, 25, are charged with two counts each of felony child endangering and two counts each of involuntary manslaughter.
The two were arrested this morning and are being held in the Muskingum County jail.
Kasey Klein's two sons, Ayden Cecil, 3, and Anthony Tullius, 2, disappeared June 4 while camping at Ellis Dam.
The Kleins told authorities the boys walked away from the tent the family was camping in near the river bank.
It was believed both boys fell into the Muskingum River. Cecil's body was recovered the same day from the river. Tullius' body was never found.
Indictment paperwork is attached below.
