Ohio University Police say they are looking for a white male in his mid-20's who raped a female student early Saturday morning.

Police say the victim got lost walking home from a party.

She might have been near State Route 682 in Athens at the time.

They say she asked for help from a passing motorist, who was driving an older model, light-colored, four door sedan.

Police say the man was a stranger to the victim and he drove her to a lit parking lot, where he raped her.

Afterwards, police say the man drove her to Court Street and dropped her off near College Gate.

The student told police that she then walked to a nearby friend's house and sought medical treatment.

The victim says the man had short, brown hair and no facial hair.

He is described as having an average build.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the OU Police Department at 593-1911.
