Ohio officials have ended their contract with the head of a Bureau of Motor Vehicles office where someone reported finding a camera hidden in a bathroom.
The BMV office in Marietta was closed Friday after the camera was reported.
The office remained closed Wednesday as the state cut ties with the local deputy registrar, Tim Amrine.
An attorney for Amrine says the move should let the office open again under new leadership. The attorney says Amrine has cooperated but does not admit any wrongdoing.
Trooper Eric Knowlton of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says authorities have a suspect in the case but charges have not been filed. He says authorities are still examining a camera and computer equipment.
