Athens Man Pleads Not Guilty To Robbery Charges
< < Back to athens-man-pleads-not-guilty-robbery-chargesThe Athens man accused of holding up a Richland Avenue gas station pleaded not guilty to his charges yesterday.
Brian Hoffman, 25, appeared in Athens County Common Pleas Court on charges of Aggravated Robber and Theft of Drugs.
Hoffman allegedly robbed the Speedway gas station on Sept. 30, holding a knife and demanding cigarettes and money from the register.
Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn says when officers arrested Hoffman, they found three vials of medication stolen from O'Bleness Memorial Hospital.
Bond was set at $50,000.
A jury trial is set for December 8.
