Zanesville Police Investigate Back To Back Robberies

Detectives say a white male attempted to rob the Starfire on Pershing Road around 4:20 a.m., but after employees refused his demands, he left the store.
A second robbery took place at the Speedway on Blue Avenue at 4:38 a.m. and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Investigators say the man acted like he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen.
The man was wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white tennis shoes.
