In a battle of SEOAL titans, there was no way Jackson was going to let Gallia Academy come in and stand in the way of an undefeated season and a conference title.
Behind the offensive firepower of Austin Osborne, Drew Ervin and Ty McNelly, the Ironmen were able to ease to a 27-7 victory.
Jackson made a statement early when their defense stepped up to stop a Blue Devil offense that was moving deep into their territory on fourth and short.
The Ironmen would then take the ball 93 yards for a score with a few big carries by Osborne.
Osborne would add another score later in the half when he went up top to Ty McNelly to increase the lead to 14.
Gallia had a chance to add points before the half, but ran a fake field goal with no time left that would be picked off keeping the score 14-0 at the half.
Jackson continued to roll in the second, this time giving the reins to Drew Ervin who pounded his way through the usually stout Gallia Academy defense. Ervin would cap the drive with a ten-yard score
Osborne would add another score, this time on a long run to really pull away and put the Ironmen up 27-0.
A Blue Devil touchdown late would make the final score 27-7.
Jackson completed their perfect season and now look to the playoffs to continue their chase for a championship.
