A homicide has been added to the November Athens County Crime Solvers Crimes of the month and investigators hope information released will help them solve the case.
Investigators say James Braden McLain, 43, was stabbed to death in April of this year on Gun Club Road in New Marshfield.
He was stabbed several times in the head and the neck.
McLain was found in the living room of his home.
Investigators believe that two people were present at the time of the death.
Investigators say one person was the person who stabbed McLain and the other just happened to be there at the time.
At the time of the death, officials believed robbery was the motive for the attack.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Solvers Anonymous at 740-594-3331.
