Hocking Township Fire Department Receives New Truck
< < Back to hocking-township-fire-department-receives-new-truckThe Hocking Township Fire Department will add a new truck to its fleet thanks to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry.
According to a news release, the division is giving the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck to the fire department as part of the Federal Excess Personal Property Program.
The program provides equipment to fire departments at no cost.
When the department is done using the truck or doesn't want it anymore, it will be returned to the Division of Forestry.
The truck is valued at more than $13,000.
