About 1 a.m. Tuesday that car was found abandoned along State Route 93 near County Road 4 in the Pedro area of Lawrence County.
Ferguson is being held in the Whitley County Detention Center until he can return to Ohio to face charges.
In Whitley County he faces charges of speeding, receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and other charges.
Johnson was also arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and other charges.
