Local Cop Busted

Sheriff's deputies from the Athens Narcotics Enforcement team have arrested Buchtel Chief of Police Kelsey Lanning.
Lanning is accused of purchasing prescribed pills from an individual working with the narcotics enforcement team.
Sheriff Pat Kelly says Lanning has been charged with possession of an illegal narcotic and additional charges will be presented to the Grand Jury.
He is being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.
Also arrested was Lanning's girlfriend — Jessica Willison — for possession.
