Deputies Investigating Gallia County Death

A death investigation is underway in Gallia County.
According to Sheriff Joe Browning, a call came in just before noon from a home on State Route 7 North just below George's Creek.
Browning says a friend found the homeowner in distress and called 911. By the time the ambulance got there, the man had died.
The cause of death has not been determined, but Browning says the man was possibly involved in a physical altercation.
The victim's name has not been released.
