Terry Fleming is Executive Director of the Ohio Petroleum Council. He joined the Council in December of 1985 as Associate Director and was appointed Executive Director in December of 1986. Prior to his joining the Council, Terry was Director of Legislative Affairs for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. He spent seven years with the Chamber of Commerce. Prior to that, Terry was in charge of the Distribution Center for the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. He served in that capacity for six years.
Mr. Fleming served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and was honorably discharged. He attended The Ohio State University and earned his degree in Marketing from Columbus Business University. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Association Executives, the Ohio Transportation Users Conference and the Ohio Lobbying Association. Terry is also a member of the Athletic Club of Columbus, Ohio and the Capital Club.
Terry is a native of Marietta, Ohio. He resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio with his wife and son. Terry is active in the Upper Arlington Optimist Club and is the scorekeeper to the boys’ high school basketball team.
