UPDATE: Hocking Co. Woman Accused Of Injecting Her Minor Children With Heroin Arrested

Update:

Authorities say an Ohio mother has been arrested on charges accusing her of injecting her teenage children with heroin before sending them to school.
    
The Hocking County Sheriff's Office says Shantel Parker,35, of Laurelville was arrested Friday at Ohio State University hospital on warrants charging her with two counts each of felonious assault, corrupting another with drugs and endangering children.
    
Investigators say Parker has been providing heroin and other drugs to her children, ages 14 and 16, for several months.
    
The teens have been placed with the county children's services agency. Parker was to be jailed in Franklin County to await a hearing and transport to Hocking County.


 

The Hocking County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help finding a woman they say injected her minor children with heroin prior to sending them to school.

Shantel Parker, 35, is charged with two counts of felonious assault, two counts of corrupting another with drugs and two counts of endangering children.

Investigators say the Laurelville woman injected her children, ages 14 and 16, with heroin before sending them to school and has been providing heroin and other drugs to her children for several months.

The children are now in the custody of Hocking County Children's Services.

Deputies believe Parker may have fled the area and are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the sheriff's office.
