OU Police Investigate Dormitory Fires

Ohio University police officers are investigating several dormitory fires that occured in the early morning hours yesterday. 

Police say that a resident assistant in Boyd Hall reported that two room doors and a builletin board had been ingnited on the third floor of the dormitory after Boyd Hall residents reported that they smelled smoke, noticed a door was still smoldering and extinguished it.

Within about an hour, the same Resident Assistant reported that two more small fires had been located and extinguished in the men's restroom. 

Only minor damage was reported. 

Police have not yet identified a suspect.
