Ross County Fatal Crash Claims One

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Ross County on March 30, 2012.

Frankfort resident Paula Cremeans, 49, was driving eastbound on County Road 550 near Shiloh Road.

According to a release from the patrol, she drove off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, lost control, and slid into the westbound lane.

Her car slid into the right side of a car driven by James Curtis, 69.

Cremeans' car then overturned off the north edge of the roadway.

Curtis was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center.

Cremeans was transported by a local funeral home.

The crash is still under investigation.
