Athens County Residents Appointed To State Boards

Gov. John Kasich appointed two Athens County residents to state boards today.
Mark Weinberg of Athens was appointed to the Local Government Innovation Council. The council establishes criteria for and make loans and awards to political subdivisions for local government innovation projects. Weinberg's term begins today and will end on September 30, 2013.
Janet Carleton of Athens was appointed to the Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board. Members of the advisory board represent Ohio's public and private archives, records offices and research institutions. Carleton's three year term begins today and ends March 31, 2015.
