Trimble Second Graders Cook With Kasich

First Lady Karen Kasich visited a second grade class at the Glouster school Tuesday.
The nutrition and cooking education program is part of the Live Healthy Appalachia initiative.
"It's important we educate children about the relationship between food, activity and health-and empower them with the skills and knowledge to live healthy, productive lives," said Kasich.
The lessons are taught in 16 Athens County classrooms.
Volunteer food educators with the program focus on teaching food, nutrition, culture and healthy living.
