Palmerfest Fire Ruled Arson

The Division of State Fire Marshal ruled Saturday's fire on Palmer Street as arson.
Investigators with the Division of State Fire Marshal say someone broke into the basement of the home at 11 Palmer Street and set the fire.
The blaze occurred during the annual street party known as Palmer Fest.
The fire caused moderate damage to the structure.
The basement sustained the most damage and fire did spread to some of the other units in the house.
The rest of the house had smoke and heat damage.
No one was injured in the incident.
A city safety spokesman says party-goers threw bottles at fire fighters attempting to put out the fire.
A Blue Ribbon Arson Reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to anyone with information leading to the identification of the person or persons responsible for the fire.
