Man Arrested For Mail Order Bath Salts

Forty-five year old Michael E. Packard was arrested on May 1st for possession of fifty packets of bath salts.
The Belpre man had forty-nine unopened packages and one open package that contained Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV), which is the banned substance found in bath salts.
Packard was arrested after removing a small package from his mailbox and is in the Washington County Jail.
He will remain in jail with a second degree felony charge until his court appearance on May 2nd.
