A Meigs County man has pleaded guilty to "sextortion."
The US Department of Justice says Charles Estep, 28, of Shade pled guilty to two counts of computer intrusion and one count of extortion on Friday.
Estep is accused of breaking into two acquaintances social media sites and threatening a victim because of comments she had posted online.
"When she did not remove the comments, Estep followed through with his threats by trying to ruin her reputation," said Deborah A. Solve, assistant US attorney.
According to court documents, Estep illegally accessed the computer of a male victim, obtained sexually explicit photos of the female victim and posted the images on an adult pornography website.
Estep has not yet been sentenced, but could face up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
