UPDATE: 12:10 p.m. Traffic has resumed normal route on US Route 33 following a morning accident that pulled down power lines in the area.
Damage to an electrical pole following a traffic accident has shut down US Route 33 through Nelsonville at this time.
According to Sheriff Pat Kelly, the accident happened in front of the Rocky Boots Outlet store.
