AUDIO/SLIDESHOW: 2012 Athens Community Music Festival

The Athens Community Music Festival took place on Saturday, Aug. 14 with 34 local acts performing at six uptown venues.
Donkey Coffee and Espresso kicked off the night with a handful of acoustic performances and duets. Corbin Marsh and J.J. Reed performed some moody tunes that were warmly received by the audience (check out a live recording of their performance above).
The Union and Jackie O's Brewery opened their stages at 6 p.m. and hosted performances until 1 a.m. Casa Nueva kicked off its portion of the fest at 9 p.m. with M.O.P., and Jackie O's Public House and The Smiling Skull started the music at 10 p.m. with Broken Ring and Sothoros, respectively.
