State agents say a bag of human hair found in Junction City "is believed to have been collected from a barber shop and not related to a crime."
That is the word today from Jill Del Greco, a spokeswoman for the Ohio Bureau of Investigation and Identification
The hair was discovered in a home in the Perry County village .
Del Greco says the agents suspect the man who lived there "used it as fertilizer for gardening."
The man is said to be elderly and in poor health.
Police dogs alerted to human remains at the property but Del Greco says agents who went there to dig found nothing out of the ordinary.
