For the last two seasons, the Gallia Academy Blue Devils have found themselves coming up just short of winning the SEOAL Football title, finishing in second place to the Jackson Ironmen in both 2010 and 2011.
Heading in to the 2012 season however, head coach Mike Eddy and his squad is feeling confident that this is the year they finally claim the league championship. It won't be easy, however, as many question marks on offense still remain.
Yet Blue Devils fans should remain optimistic that the team will be in contention until the final week, as the defense looks nasty as ever during fall camp. All signs point to their season hinging on their Week 10 matchup with the Ironmen at home. Will they finally be able to make the jump from second place to first?
Here is Eddy sharing his thoughts on his expectations for the year, and how they plan to dethrone Jackson from the top spot in the SEOAL.
