September Hope: A Talk with Author John C. McManus

On this edition of Conversations from Studio B, host Doug McCabe talks with author and professor John C. McManus about his most recent non-fiction work September Hope: The American Side of A Bridge Too Far.

McManus felt that the British perspective on the famous Bridge Too Far battle of WWII had been thoroughly covered by historians; September Hope takes the viewpoint of the American foot soldier throughout that pivotal fight.

McManus' research efforts within the Cornelius Ryan Collection at the Ohio University Archives and Special Collections are also discussed.
