Ohio Volleyball Selected to Win MAC East
< < Back toThe Ohio volleyball team starts the regular season as the preseaon favorites to take the 2012 MAC East title.
The preseason poll was announced by the league after a vote by the head coaches.
Ohio earned 11 votes after capturing the division title every season since 2002. Miami was picked to win second in the east, after earning one vote from the coaches.
Western Michigan was picked to win the MAC West, with ten votes.The Broncos were also picked to win the regular season and tournament titles.
The 'Cats kick off the regular season Friday August 24 against No. 11 ranked Pepperdine in Dayton.
