The Ohio State Highway Patrol says "drugs and alcohol are believed to have contributed" to a car crash in Pike County over the weekend that killed a man.
Christopher Murphy, 26, of Lancaster died late Saturday night at the scene.
He was a passenger in a car driven by 34-year-old Michelle Caudill of Laurelville.
She and two other passengers were injured.
The Highway Patrol says Caudill lost control of her car on State Route 335 in Jackson Township and struck a guard rail.
No charges have been filed.
Troopers are investigating.
