ODOT Opening Portion Of Nelsonville Bypass
< < Back to odot-opening-portion-nelsonville-bypassOhio Department of Transportation leaders heading up the Nelsonville Bypass Project expect westbound lanes will open next week.
District 10 Construction Administrator Cary Betzing says westbound lanes will be open September 19 as long as weather permits.
The westbound lanes are part of Phase Two of the project with eastbound lanes scheduled to open by the end of November.
The bypass will start at West Interchange Rd. and traffic will exit the bypass through a tie-in to U.S. 33 heading toward Logan.
Betzing says Phase Three is concrete paving and it will begin by mid-October.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed in September of next year.
