The Ohio University men’s cross country team finished ninth in the gold division of the Adidas Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind. on Friday. Ninth place is a marked improvement over the Bobcats’ last place finish in Toledo last week.

Ohio’s highest placing individual runner was senior Tyler Ames, who came in 18th overall with a time of 25:07.
The individual first place finish went to Windsor senior Matt Walters, who finished with a time of 24:28. North Central College took home the overall victory, placing three runners in the top ten.
Ohio faces a quick turnaround, and will look to continue improving today in the All-Ohio championship at 2:15 pm in Cedarville, Ohio.
