First Woman To Lead Ohio University Alumni Association

For the first time in its 150-year history Ohio University will have a woman lead its alumni association.

Jennifer Lewis Neubauer, of Pittsburgh, Penn., has been named assistant vice president of alumni relations and executive director of the Ohio University Alumni Association.

According to a university release, Neubauer, who currently serves as the director for the Institute for Entreprenuerial Excellence at the University of Pittsburgh, will start her new role with the OUAA December 3.

She has 30 years of experience in higher education in the areas of alumni relations, fundraising, marketing and public relations having previously worked at Nazareth College, Georgia State University, Indiana University and Carnegie Mellon University.

"I am so pleased and proud to have been selected assistant vice president for Alumni Relations at Ohio University," said Neubauer, who will be in attendance for OU's Homecoming activities.

In her new role with the OUAA, Neubauer will provide direction for OU's alumni relations efforts and will implement programs, activities, services, and communications to help build relationships between OU's living alumni.
