Ohio volleyball is on a five game winning streak, thanks in part to the help of Chelsea Bilger. For her performance over the weekend, Chelsea Bilger was named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week by the conference.
Bilger notched a season-high 17 kills Friday night against Akron and led the team in kills over the weekend. She followed Friday's performance up with 12 kills against Buffalo Saturday night.
In league play, Bilger is averaging 3.94 kills per set and is hitting .287 to lead the 'Cats offensively. She surpassed the 500 kill mark for her career, after notching 55 kills in the last four matches.
For the season, Bilger is second on the team in kills with 2.98 per set, but is leading Ohio in percentage with an average of .202.
