Ohio’s Jessica Jue has been named MAC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week.

Last week Jue helped Ohio to two wins, including an upset victory at No. 15 Wake Forest. Against the Demon Deacons, Jue scored two goals, one of which was the game winner in double overtime. Jue also had two assists in Ohio’s 7-0 win over MAC opponent Ball State.

This is the first time Jue has won offensive player of the week. Last season, the junior took home a MAC Defensive Player of the Week award as well as First Team All-MAC honors.

Jue joins Ohio’s Brittany Walker, Taylor Brown and Luli Gomez Teruel as one of four Bobcats to earn player of the week honors this season. She is second on the team with six assists and holds the school record for most assists in a season with 18 in 2011.
