An 18-year-old man has been killed in a head-on collision in Fairfield County.
A car being driven by 19-year-old Christopher Poling of Thornville, Perry County, struck another vehicle head-on while he was trying to pass a third car around 10 a.m. Sunday.
His passenger, Travis Allard of Thornville, died at the scene. Troopers say Allard was not wearing a seat belt.
Poling, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown to Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The driver of the car that was struck, 75-year-old Charles Gray, was in fair condition Sunday night at Grant Medical Center.
