WOUB Alum to Host New Late Night Show for CBS Sports Network

Ohio University and WOUB alum Allie LaForce is set to co-host CBS Sports Network's new live, late night show, LEAD OFF with fomer ESPN college basketball analyst Doug Gottlieb.

The show will air weekdays from 12:00-1:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and debuts October 22. 

LEAD OFF will feature commentary and debate on the top stories of the day in the sporting world.

LaForce graduated from Ohio University's Honors Tutorial College in 2011 with a degree in broadcast journalism. Before accepting the co-host spot, LaForce was a sports anchor at Fox 8 in Cleveland. She has also been a contributor for the regional sports network SportsTime Ohio, where she was a color analyst and sideline reporter. She has also been a studio host covering various Mid-American Conference events and high school championships.

She was a member of the Ohio University women's basketball team for two years while in college. In 2005, LaForce won the Miss Teen USA pagent and was the first winner from the state of Ohio.

LEAD OFF will give perspective on the sports news of the day, and is the first opportunity for fans to discuss and debate the topics. The show will also feature a mix of live guests, highlights, energetic debate and commentary from Gottlieb, LaForce and others. The show's main focus will be the hot topics of the day, and the headlines coming up the next day.
