Planned Parenthoods in Ohio are asking a federal appeals court to reconsider a recent ruling that upheld a state law limiting the distribution of an abortion pill.

The groups filed a petition on Tuesday with the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati to re-examine the case.

On Oct. 2, a three-judge panel of the court upheld the 2004 law, saying that it doesn’t violate a woman’s right to choose.

The law banned the use of RU-486, or mifepristone, to induce abortion unless prescribed by a doctor in compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines.

Planned Parenthood sued. Last year, a federal judge ruled against the abortion providers and said the law didn’t create a substantial obstacle to a woman’s right to choose.
