Fmr. Fairfield Co. Couple Found Dead Inside NC Home

A man and woman from Amanda, Ohio were found dead in a Jacksonville, North Carolina home Tuesday.

Jacksonville police are investigating what they say they believe to be a murder-suicide.

Jessica Hart-Hall, 22, died from two fatal gunshot wounds and her husband, Jeremy Hall, also 22, died from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Their bodies were found Tuesday afternoon after a family member requested a welfare check of the couple's home.

Officers found the residence to be dead-bolted from the inside with no signs of forced entry.

The victims' bodies were found in the same room of the house.

The couple had moved to Jacksonville because Jeremy Hall was an active duty service member at nearby Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Autopsies were performed Wednesday at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, but results have not been released.
