SLIDESHOW: 2012 Athens Halloween

Despite cooler temperatures and drizzling rain, thousands of costumed revelers poured into town and onto Court Street for Athens' annual Halloween Block Party.

In addition to being entertained by a dozen bands, attendees were able to follow activities and updates on Twitter, Facebook and a blog, a first for the city.
