Ohio Field Hockey's Cathryn Altdoerffer has been selected to play in the 2012 NFHCA Division I Senior Game on Nov. 17. She is the only representative from the Mid-American Conference to be selected.

Altdoerffer is a two-time All-MAC selection, being named to the first team last season after ranking in the top ten in the conference in shots, points, goals and assists. The senior was named to the All-MAC Second Team in 2010. Altdoerffer has played in every game since her freshman year for the Bobcats and has started each contest since the beginning of her sophomore season.

Altdoerffer was selected to the All-MAC Academic Team each of the last two seasons. In 2011 she was named a NFHCA scholar athlete.

Altdoerffer has scored nine points this season with two goals and five assists. Eight of those nine points have come in conference play, including two goals and two assists in a 7-0 win vs. Ball State.

This season’s NFHCA Senior Game will feature the selected participants competing against each other and against the U.S. Women’s National Team in four 25-minute sessions. The game begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at Old Dominion University.
