Glouster Man Arrested For Sexual Contact With Minor

A Glouster man is in jail facing a sexual assault charge involving a minor.

Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn says officers arrested 39-year-old James Dawson Wednesday in The Plains.

The Athens County Grand Jury indicted Dawson for one count of gross sexual imposition.

Dawson was accused of having sexual contact with a nine-year-old in June.

He was arrested on a warrant after failing to appear in Athens County Common Pleas Court for arraignment.

Blackburn says his family gave information of his whereabouts.

The Athens County Sheriff's Office investigated the case.
