Scioto County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a Portsmouth man for operating a methampetamine lab in his home.
Officials charged 32-year-old Dustin Carver for manufacturing meth within 100-yards of a minor and the possession of meth making materials on Wednesday.
Investigators said Carver admitted to having a meth lab in his home.
When deputies searched his residence they discovered Carver was actively cooking meth at the time of his arrest.
Carver is being held in the Scioto County Jail on $175,000 bond and could face more charges.
