Ohio Baseball head coach Rob Smith is off to a hot start with his first recruiting class at Ohio. The ‘Cats received their third official signing today with Holy Cross High School (KY) second baseman Connor Callery.
The 5-foot-7-inch 158 pound senior will join Austin Rieman and Ty Black in the 2014 class. A right-handed fielder, Callery adds a small quick left-handed bat that with development could improve to be quite a lead off hitter.
Callery chose Ohio over Northern Kentucky and Kentucky.
