Huntington Police a searching for group of men responsible for a third home invasion in the city in the past week.

Investigators said three men wearing dark colored hoodies broke into a home in the 900 block of 24th Street just before midnight Sunday.

A woman who lives there with her daughter and grandkids said she fears for their lives.

She said they were playing cards when they heard a loud boom and then three men entered the home with guns.

Some of the family members are leaving the home for fear the intruders may return.

Police are investigating two similar incidents.  The first home invasion robbery happened last Tuesday.  The second just two days later on Thursday.

The three incidents don't appear to be connected.

The victims of Sunday night's home invasion say they don't know why they would be targeted or what they were after, but they hope the suspects are caught.
