Olive Hill Mayor Arrested For Allegedly Selling Pot

Police say the mayor a small Kentucky town admitted to selling marijuana to undercover officers.
Olive Hill Mayor Danny Sparks is charged with trafficking marijuana within one-thousand feet of a school.
Police arrested him Wednesday night after performing a sting near Olive Hill Elementary School.
The Grayson Journal-Times reports Sparks submitted his resignation letter following his arrest.
But there has been no official word from City Hall about the resignation.
The Olive Hill Police Chief Bobby Hall calls the whole ordeal "an embarrassment for the city."
