A Cambridge man suspected of being a part of a November armed robbery in Senecaville has been taken into custody and is awaiting charges.

Guernsey County sheriff's detectives arrested the 18-year-old male at his home on Thursday afternoon.

He is the fifth suspect arrested in connection to a late-November robbery, where deputies responded to a home on Wintergreen Road after a man reported that he had been assaulted and robbed. The victim said that four people had entered the residence, threatened him with a gun, battered him and took an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items before leaving.

Four other suspects, Derric Blanchard, 22, Cody Blanchard, 23, Michael Hardy, 23 and Tessa Stickley, 22, were arrested at a Southgate Parkway hotel last week and have already been charged for their alleged roles in the crime.

All five suspects believed to have been involved in the robbery are now in custody in the Guernsey County Jail.
