Authorities are searching for a male suspect who robbed a Scioto County bank late Wednesday morning.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini said the robbery occurred around 11:15 a.m. at the US Bank on Route 139 in Minford.

He said the suspect approached the bank on foot and demanded money once inside. The suspect then fled the bank in one of the teller's vehicles with an undisclosed amount of money.

Donini said the suspect is described as a smaller white male wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, a dark colored sweatshirt with what appeared to be a mask covering his face.

He was last seen driving south on East Street in a white Ford F-150 with Ford across the windshield and a pink breast cancer sticker in the back window.

Donini said it is possible that the suspect could be linked to other crimes in the area, and asks anyone who has seen the male or vehicle to contact law enforcement instead of approaching the suspect.

Anyone with information concerning the bank robbery is asked to contact the Scioto County Sheriff's Office.
