Ohio football players Eric Herman and Tremayne Scott are the sole representatives from the Mid-American Conference to be selected to play in the 2013 Texas vs. The Nation All-Star game.

The game is set for February 2 with kick-off slated for 2:30 p.m. EST in Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas.

Despite battling an injury all season, Scott had an impressive performance in the 2012 AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl. He had five tackles, two sacks, and his first career interception in Ohio's 45-14 victory over University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Herman started every game in 2012, and finished his career with 51 straight starts. Herman wrapped up his career leading the team in pancakes (128) and knockdowns (131)

The Texas vs. The Nation game was established in 2006. Each team has 54 draft eligible players. Players are selected from Division I, II, and II programs from around the country.
